Was Roseanne Barr Blogging While Drunk?

Former Sitcom Star Claims Ex-Intern Responsible

    UPDATED: 7:32 pm CDT August 8, 2007

Actress-comedian Roseanne Barr is in the midst of a brewing Internet scandal thanks to a some out of the ordinary posts on her MySpace.com page.

According to celebrity gossip blog PerezHilton.com, Barr's purported MySpace ramblings include, "I need to stop drinking, but I do not wish to," "I am in Hawaii on the beach drunk" and "When you are old, you pee your pants more it seems."

Posted on Aug. 6, the said entries were filled with several expletives and contain grammatical errors throughout.

But Barr has fired back against the errant posts on her official Web site RoseanneWorld.com, claiming they were the work of an intern who hacked into the page.

The intern, PerezHilton.com said, was fired after the alleged incident.

The strange series of events doesn't appear to end there.

Barr has posted another message on RoseanneWorld.com, claiming that the former intern has stolen a "private sex tape" from her.

"I am offering $25,000 for it's return (unless someone would like to distribute it -- then I am willing to deal). The rumor mill says that Perez Hilton knows who took it," Barr said in the most recent post on the site.

While Barr is denying the "drunken" posts on her MySpace page, on her Aug. 5 post on her RoseanneWorld site, titled, "In English," Barr describes herself as "drunk as a f----ing skunk."

In the post, she gives the definitions to several "words" -- including "Bush," "Bill Clinton," "Cheney," "Hilary," "Obama," "Gingrich," "Pelosi," "Oprah," "Religion" and "Hollywood" -- and harshly rips every one of them.

Barr starred on the ABC sitcom "Rosanne" from 1988-1997.
